1952 Nancy Ann Style Show Doll Original Vintage 18” Storybook “Breath of Spring”

Description

A lovely vintage 18″ hard plastic strung doll in her original ballgown. The doll was made by the Nancy Ann Storybook Doll Company. This beauty is called Breath of Spring, style number 1502, offered for sale in 1952.
This beauty has soft facial coloring with rosy cheeks,bright lips and smoky eye shadow. She has lush eye lashes and blue eyes are accented with lower painted lashes. Her long reddish blonde strawberry saran wig is in the original style.
She is wearing her original green and lilac taffeta ballgown. She has a ivory boned hoop half slip with matching lace trimmed panties. Her pretty face is framed with a black straw bonnet trimmed with roses and lilac ties under her chin. Sheer nylons and black satin center snap shoes complete her ensemble. She is all original and not missing anything.
Dress is minty but has a small hole in the back.
Bow has some fraying.
Straw hat has minor flaws.
The doll is in excellent condition with no cracks or odors or stains.
The hoop slip boning is mis-shapened due to being stored in a box for many years.
She is a fabulous example of the 1950s Golden Era of dolls!
